Looking for training and skills that allow you to make money?
Interested in using our van to make money?


City of Salisbury through Twelve25 Salisbury Youth Enterprirse Centre is developing a new social enterprise called "Coffee Connoisseurs".

The goal is to work with young people living in the City of Salisbury who are unemployed (for more than 3 months) to develop the skills and abilities to become a Barista for our equiped coffee van.

The model is a social enterprise model where young people operate the van and keep what they earn less a small fee for hire of the van. Work hard and you can earn good money.

We are currently seeking expressions of interest for the training and development program.

Criteria of the people we are looking for are :-
* Resident of City of Salisbury
* Aged 17 - 25 years (post secondary schooling)
* Have a drivers licence on P's at least, willing to learn to drive a mannual car
* Physically fit and capable - able to stand for extended periods
* Presentable and Attitude suitable for a customer service role
* Ability and willingness to learn and aim for high quality coffee expectations
* Ability to handle money
* Likes coffee and working outside
* Honest, reliable, good personal hygine
* Available for training during June.

A training space will be offered to about 10 people and training will occur throughout the year.

Satisfactory completion of the training program will result in the ability to apply to become a 'approved operator' of the van. It is anticipated that we will seek 8-10 approved operators that can work a van roster in additional to our current team.
